We are extremely pleased to announce that Dillon's will own and operate the restaurant and bar business. Dillon's at Scorpion Bay is expected to be open in late June or early July. The staff at Dillon's will bring their favorite food items and drink specials as well as offer live music on the covered outdoor patio. Join your family and friends for a great experience while enjoying a fantastic view of the lake.
In addition to operating the restaurant and bar, Dillon's will also operate a fully stocked convenience store and deli. Snacks, sandwiches, pop, beer...everything you need for a fun filled boating weekend.
The three owners of Scorpion Bay Marina & Yacht Club have been in the marine industry for 30 years each. When the decision was made to design and build Scorpion Bay Marina, the intent was to provide a facility second to none. Careful consideration was given as to how this facility could provide convenience, safety, family fun and great entertainment. Most marina operators would not have invested the funds for an electric tram from parking lot to the docks. However, their combined experience told them, do what is right to keep our customers happy.
Dennis Gorney is the owner of Sun Country in Phoenix. Sun Country's reputation for customer service is number one in the Phoenix metro market. Dennis has been selling and servicing his customers on Lake Pleasant and now looks forward to offering his customers the opportunity to keep their boats at this World-Class marina.
Mike Pretasky is the owner of Skipper Marine Development(SMD). Mike and his team were responsible for the design, engineering and construction of the entire Scorpion Bay complex. SMD brings incredible experience to this project, since they currently own or operate over 15 marinas in Wisconsin, Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio, and Florida. It's this type of knowledge that will assure slip holders that Scorpion Bay will be professionally run.
Dave Pretasky and his family have owned and operated marinas in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and North Carolina since 1960. Their business slogan "Where Customers Become Friends" works because of their dedication to customer satisfaction.
